Guidelines
Originality: We prioritize original, unpublished content. Please ensure that what you submit has not been posted elsewhere, including personal blogs.
Relevance: Content should be relevant to our audience – focusing on health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness in the Bangladeshi context.
Length: Articles should ideally be between 800 to 1,200 words.
Citations: Always give credit where it’s due. Link back to any studies, research, or other sources you reference in your article.
Images: If you’re including images, ensure they are high-quality and that you have the rights to use them.
Editing: We reserve the right to edit your content for clarity, length, and style. If major edits are necessary, we will get in touch before publishing.
How to Submit
- Send your article as a Word or Google Docs attachment to [email protected].
- Include a brief bio (2-3 sentences) about yourself, which will appear at the end of your article. Feel free to include links to your social media profiles or personal blog.
- Add “Submission for Sylhetism” in the email subject line.
- If you have images, attach them separately in the email and indicate where they should appear in the article.
Response Time
Due to the volume of submissions, we might not be able to respond to everyone. If your article is shortlisted or selected for publication, you can expect to hear from us within 14 days. If you don’t receive a response in this time frame, please feel free to submit your article elsewhere.
